Week 8: Alternate 1

Brightwork newmusic has a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. The hashtags used correspond to the artists, composers, venues, and any sponsors that are involved in a particular production. To generate interest, some posts are themed based on alliterative hashtags per days of the week, such as #ThrowbackThursday #WomanCrushWednesday #MusicMonday.

On Twitter (@BrghtWrk), we follow over 500 people but only have a little over 200 followers. Our Twitter feed has a lot of activity going on from other groups and businesses which allows for a lot of participation with retweeting and liking.

With Instagram (@BrghtWrk), this is the least used account in terms of posting content and being involved in the online community. This is because Instagram needs original content to stay relevant and it is my goal to get more short videos and unique selfies of the group for posts.
