Week 10: Post 1_Human Interest

I feel that blogging is the ultimate way to reach people on a personal level. They're referred to as "personal blog" for a reason. With the exception of very strict branding related to fields like law and medicine, adding a something that will pique human interest will appeal to emotions. People like to feel understood and that their emotions are valid. Another source that supports this assertion is that scholars have agreed that pathos, the appeal to one's emotions, is a rhetorical device used for persuasion. If the piece seems genuine, people will be more inclined to finish reading it.
