Week 11: Post 1

Given the number of commitments each member of Brightwork has, whether it's professional or familial, it is a challenge to have a newsletter in place that is consistent because the amount of performances is inconsistent itself. Brightwork gets invited to perform or be in residency or reaches out to venues for performance time. I think that this is a problem across the board for small professional, classical ensembles that have very busy members.
However, I think the idea of a quarterly newsletter would be consistent enough and have enough content to include, even if it is filled mostly with the individual projects that individual members have undertaken. This alone could create interest in the passion the artists have for their projects and then be tied back to the mission/performance statement of the group.
